Outboard Fuel Economy 2-stroke, 4-stroke, Diesel - Does Anybody Know How They Compare In Terms Of Fuel Economy?

2-stroke, 4-stroke, diesel - does anybody know how they compare in terms of fuel economy? - outboard fuel economy

I need a new motor for my boat planing, 40 to 60 HP is very good.
I'm going to work with him, if fuel economy is a problem. On the other hand, diesel engines are so expensive that it could drive a two-stroke ten years before the start of the break-even.
Who knows how the comparison is it?
As to whether the 2-time uses 12 liters per hour, as long as the 4-stroke diesel and have a similar result in the same boat?
